Why we love WEST

First home buyer Caitlin tells us why she loves her new home at WEST that she shares with her best friend.

Q: What do you enjoy most about living in WEST?

A: The location, it’s really close to the beach but still not too far from the city. I grew up in One Tree Hill so for me WEST was a bit of a sea change. WEST is such a friendly neighbourhood. We always greet each other and keep an eye out for one another. I also enjoy the amenity that is now so close by. There are new cafés, health care and I go to Body Fit gym.

Q: What drew you to your home design? 

A: I really liked the layout by Metricon as it utilised the space quite well and I hadn’t seen this type of floorplan from any other builder. My home is a two-storey townhouse with two bedrooms and two living areas. A third bedroom could have been added in place of the second living, but I really liked the idea of having a second lounge area. Seeing other quality homes already built in WEST also drew me in. I’d like to live here for the next five years before I start a family.

Q: How did you find the buying off-plan process?

A: I first drove through the area and was intrigued. From the moment I walked into the sales centre the process was really easy. This is my first home and my first time building so I didn’t know what to expect. I even had my parents install some upgrades for me, which the team made very easy for us to arrange.
